 Advanced Techniques in Cosmetic Surgery Courses

The Advanced Techniques in Cosmetic Surgery course taught by Dr. Efrain Gonzalez is a hands-on informative course for physicians (or accompanying staff members) interested in increasing their knowledge of cosmetic and facial surgery and procedures. This is done through a series of lectures featuring live in-house surgery performed in our fully accredited IMQ surgery center in Rocklin, California.

Participants may observe these cosmetic procedures being done in the operating room as well as on full screen high definition TV. Dr. Gonzalez has documented the most contemporary cosmetic surgery procedures along with real time narration and soon-to-come DVD lectures featuring surgical markings, actual surgery and post-op patients.  This method helps the participants to learn the procedure basics and observe the surgery up close and in action. Certificates are provided for all doctors that attend and all social functions are included in the registration fee (including breakfast and lunch both days of the workshop, and dinner the first night at a four-star restaurant within the greater Sacramento area).

General Course Information

Dr. Efrain Gonzalez has been a main contributor to Advanced Techniques in Cosmetic and Facial Rejuvenation workshops since 2007. He has made it a priority to provide training to hundreds of doctors from virtually every specialty including cosmetic surgery, dermatology, facial plastic surgery, ENT, oral and maxillofacial surgery, oculoplastic surgery, ophthalmology, and OB/GYN and family practices. The Advanced Techniques in Cosmetic Surgery course is an intensive 2 day mix of lectures, live surgery and fun.  Lectures and surgery are performed at Dr. Efrain Gonzalez’s fully accredited surgery center and all meals and social events are included in the registration fee. The purpose of these workshops are to present cosmetic surgery procedures and protocol in an instructive lecture format along with live surgical observation of the actual process for course participants to learn cosmetic procedure basics and gain more experience. This series is an excellent teaching implement for novice surgeons as well as a great review course for more experienced surgeons.
